Paint Correction First
Ceramic coating is only as good as the surface beneath it. Our paint correction process prepares your vehicle for maximum gloss, durability, and coating performance.
Ceramic coating protects the condition of your paint, but it does not remove existing swirl marks, scratches, water spots, or oxidation. That’s why proper paint correction or machine polishing is an important part of the process.
Before applying the coating, we refine the paint to improve gloss, clarity, and overall appearance while creating a clean surface for better bonding. Once the coating is applied, it helps preserve that finish and makes your vehicle easier to maintain. Unmatched Durability protects against oxidation, environmental contaminants, and harsh UV rays, making it ideal for vehicles exposed to Santa Maria’s coastal climate.
How long does ceramic coating last?
With proper maintenance our ceramic coating packages are designed to deliver years of durable protection based on the package you choose.
Is ceramic coating worth it?
Yes. Ceramic coating enhances gloss, makes washing easier, and provides long-term protection against UV rays, oxidation, and environmental contaminants.
Does ceramic coating prevent scratches?
No. Ceramic coating is not scratch-proof and will not prevent rock chips or deep scratches, but it can help reduce minor wash marring.
Can ceramic coating be applied to older vehicles?
Absolutely. Ceramic coating can be applied to older vehicles and is often paired with paint correction to restore gloss and improve the overall finish.
How long does installation take?
Most ceramic coating installations take 1–2 days, depending on the vehicle’s size, condition, and the level of paint correction required.
Will ceramic coating make my vehicle easier to clean?
Yes. Ceramic coatings create a slick, hydrophobic surface that helps repel water, dirt, and contaminants, making routine washing faster and easier.
Is paint correction included?
Yes. Every ceramic coating package includes paint preparation, with the level of correction varying by package and vehicle condition.
What is the difference between dealership coatings and professional coatings?
Professional ceramic coatings are installed after proper paint preparation and correction, resulting in better durability, gloss, and overall performance than most dealership-applied coatings.
